Dr. Nevistić holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) and Diploma/Post-Diploma degrees from Zagreb University.
While building her track record in academia, she worked as a teaching and research assistant at the ETH Zurich, and a visiting researcher at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Pasadena.
After completing her doctorate degree in 1997, Dr. Nevistic joined McKinsey & Company where she became a Partner in 2003, working out of Zurich and New York offices. Building on her extensive international experience in management consulting, she continued her career in the area of global investment banking having been a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in London and Zurich.
From 2009 to 2012 Dr. Nevistic was a Group Managing Director and Head of Corporate Development at UBS, where she was part of the senior executive team that restructured the bank following the financial crisis.
In 2013 Dr. Nevistić founded her own advisory boutique, VereNovo GmbH, aimed at providing holistic expertise on a wide range of top management and board topics, including strategy and business transformation.
In addition to her advisory activities, Dr. Nevistic currently also serves as a Non-Executive Director at the Board of Compagnie Financiere Richemont SA, a Geneva-based global luxury goods group encompassing brands like Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Montblanc, and at the Supervisory Board of Atlantic Grupa d.d., a leading consumer goods company focusing on South East European markets.
Her track record and expertise gained over the years in various capacities span across multiple different industries, including also logistics and transportation, where Dr. Nevistic was involved in several sector-shaping projects and M&A transactions, and most recently has served on the Supervisory Board of Samskip BV, a leading Pan-European multimodal transportation company.
Apart from her corporate engagements, Dr. Nevistic supports various non-profit organizations and serves on the Advisory Board of the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, and was also a member of the Finance Committee of the Swiss Study Foundation and a trustee at the Swiss Institute Contemporary Art New York.
